Each volume of the Review includes a book reviews section. Books that deal with Adam Smith, or that matter more broadly for Smith scholarship, are eligible.
Editorial approach
The Review’s policy is to invite authors to reply to reviews of their own books, which is why many reviews in the volume listings are followed by a response. Reviews of works in languages other than English are also welcomed, a notable choice given how much Smith scholarship is published in French, German, Italian and other languages.
Reviews editor
At the time of the archive the book reviews editor was Craig Smith of the University of Glasgow, who earlier held the role from the University of St Andrews. Readers interested in the volumes can see the contents of Volume 3, Volume 4 and others from the home page.
